Weekly Theme: Foliage

After a long, dry summer, the foliage celebrated a summer rain with a joyful greening glistening through shimmering droplets, filling the backyard cathedral with a holy glow.

Visitation of a Leafy Bug (Great Winged Katydid)

No matter our age, the world around us holds wonders we have never before met. Sometimes in our own back yard!

It was mesmerizing to watch the katydid travel in extremely slow and stilted movements, reminiscent of a slow moving chameleon lizard.

It was interesting to read that their ears are in their front legs!
