Cabbage White
Cabbage Whites may be the most common of butterflies, but I believe this is the only time I have been able to photograph one of these little fluttery creatures to where I can see more than a blob of white. They are fast moving and the contrast is so high that it is quite a creative challenge. This little guy is stunning, in my book.
Travel Theme: Brights
This week’s travel theme from Ailsa is centered around “brights”. Upon reading the topic, I immediately thought of the warm Florida sun. Everything from the bright light reflecting off the spotless whites of the birds and the sand to the brilliant sunshine bouncing off the water and filtering through the palm trees.
These photos were taken on different trips to Marco Island and the Keys.
